A Keynote Address 'The first 30 years of RCC dams’ was given to the 7th International Symposium on Roller-Compacted Concrete (RCC) dams. In addition a further six papers were presented either as a sole author (one) or as a co-author (five).
Also at the 7th International Symposium on Roller-Compacted Concrete (RCC) dams, Changuinola 1 was chosen as an ‘International Milestone RCC Dam Project’ and MD&A was awarded a certificate as Designer. MD&A are thus one of the very few parties to have been awarded two International Milestone RCC Dam Projects, after Olivenhain in 2007.
